A new focus for this young family home
We hear it all the time - but it's true for so many of us - the kitchen is the heart of a happy home. In this project, we opened out a simple cooking and washing up kitchen into a high-spec kitchen, diner and family room, marked with character and light.
Over a 4 month build, we extended and reconfigured this family kitchen, making it the focus of the home. We created 3 discrete areas for preparing food, dining and relaxing with the kids. The flexible space works around the needs of the whole family - eating, entertaining, doing homework and making a mess.
